One of the most significant and prestigious maintenance projects at MIDOR, reinforcing its position as a leading refinery in the region.
The scope included the removal of existing bottom plates and roof structures, fabrication of new steel components, installation and alignment of new bottom plates and roof frameworks, welding, structural inspection, and final commissioning. FGE ensured that all activities were carried out safely and efficiently, maintaining high-quality standards while minimizing downtime for the tanks.
Our Scope of work
Successfully, FGE was directly awarded by the main contractor EMC at MIDOR to execute the complete replacement of bottom plates and roof steel structures for 5 tanks. This project highlights FGE’s technical expertise, precision, and ability to handle critical fabrication and maintenance works in large-scale oil and gas facilities. The works were performed efficiently, ensuring structural integrity, operational safety, and compliance with industry standards, contributing to the continuous and reliable operation of the tanks.
